Mc Kinney Timber is a family run business now entering its third generation of involvement in the timber industry. Originally started in 1950 by John Mc Kinney as a small sawmill in Lislea , County Armagh, and trading under the name Milford Sawmills.
The mill evolved into a thriving business which necessitated the use of larger premises, so in 1960 the business was relocated to our current premises in Railway Street, Armagh.
In present day the business has evolved along side the expansion of the city and become increasingly retail orientated. Manufacturing and treatment facilities have an important presence on the site to provide a complete service to all our retail, trade, and wholesale customers.
In 2002 we fulfilled a business initiative to stock a comprehensive range of quality garden and landscaping products in order to compliment our already renowned stock of fencing and agricultural products.
July 2004 saw the completion of new office accommodation, showroom, and display area.
New products and brands are being added on a regular basis and recent investment in new CE compliant woodworking machinery and workshop we are committed to the long term provision of high quality products at value for money prices. |
